Elvis once said that if you boil a crawfish just right, it’ll be sweeter than sugar when you take a bite. This is exactly what Crawfish 512 achieves every time with our award winning recipe. The crawfish season runs late December to early July during this peak period we are extremely busy so be sure to book quickly. During the offseason, we are still doing other seafood boils (crab, lobster, etc).

Our crawfish are cleaned (why they are called mudbugs) prior to cooking live, where we use only the top trusted brands & ingredients during the boiling process. We then allow our crawfish to soak before serving with a fresh piece of corn, potato, & sausage.

We are extremely proud that Crawfish 512 can provide the exact same experience that you would receive in a Lousiana backyard.

Crawfish 512 is an Austin, Texas-based crawfish catering company. We cater to all your seafood boil needs whether it is crawfish, crab, shrimp, lobster or all. The fixings included always. We make it so that you don’t have to do a thing but enjoy yourself and enjoy a great boil. Sit back & crack open a beer while you smell the spices fill the air.

The idea of starting this company came from the love & passion of cooking for great friends, it just so happened that at the very first boil, throwing together a recipe by reading multiple sources that we had something truly special. The rest is history & we are now very busy during crawfish season. Book us for your next event so we can show you what exactly we are talking about.

Pricing

Crawfish Boil Pricing

Crawfish boil pricing is based entirely on the year: 2013 was the biggest crop on record and thus the lowest price, but 2014’s intense Winter has made for the most expensive mudbugs in history.

We do our Crawfish by the pound with 30-35lbs being the minimum. Typically for light eaters, you will want 3-5lbs per person, the pros are looking for 3-7lbs to keep their bellies happy. We are very accommodating and serve what needs you have, who are we to tell you how much you want.

Crawfish also come in all kinds of different sizes during the season based on how the weather is (hot or cold & wet or dry) from the farms in Lousiana. Because of this, the price per lb does fluctuate but we try to keep our prices even & fair. We also prefer that we serve large crawfish but can get small-medium size as well.
